Our Story

The journey of Lucille London originally began as 'LucilleRocks' in 2011, undertaking a creative mission to design solid gold pieces using rough-cut diamonds and precious gemstones that were both sustainable and stylish.

Lucille's background in jewellery design was established throughout her college educational years in which she studied Fashion Marketing and Business at the American Intercontinental University in Marylebone, Diamond Studies with the Diamond Trading Company (a DeBeers Group Company) in the DeBeers Diamond Academy in Farringdon, and undertook studies in diamond grading, precious stones, and jewellery design and manufacturing at the British Academy of Jewellery (then known as Holts Academy) in London's Hatton Garden.

Lucille went on to partner with jewellers in Hatton Garden and the London Diamond Bourse to bring her designs to life before training in jewellery making to master the art of jewellery from concept to delivery, and thus, Lucille London was established.

Throughout her career and to this day, Lucille has believed in designing jewellery solely from ethically sourced gemstones and recycled gold, paving the way for fine jewellery that is sustainable, ethical, stylish and unique.

Lucille London is a Fairtrade registered jeweller. We believe in using solely Fairtrade gold or sustainable recycled fine gold in our jewellery designs.

Lucille is a member of the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office, where hallmarking began, and as such, all items are hallmarked by the London Assay Office where they undergo rigorous testing to ensure the metal in your item is of the best quality.
