This exquisite late 19th-century sterling silver chain is a striking statement piece featuring a combination of intricate mixed links, each solid and substantial in design. The chain showcases wide intertwined lover's knot links, oval links, wide curb links, and tight curb links, offering a beautiful balance of textures and styles.

Crafted from solid sterling silver, the majority of the links bear crisp, clear lion passant hallmarks, signifying their authenticity. The T-bar is stamped "JB," and the dog clips are marked "JWB," with date letters indicating the chain’s late 1800s origin.

The chain measures 24 inches long, with a 3.5-inch drop that can extend its length to 27 inches, whilst the dog clip can be attached at various sections of the chain, offering a combination of styles and extremely versatile wear. Its bold 10mm width at the widest links and substantial weight of 102.32g makes it a standout accessory, perfect for layering or wearing alone.

In excellent antique condition, the links show no significant signs of wear, and the dog clips function flawlessly, ensuring secure wear. This timeless chain is a true testament to the craftsmanship of its era and a versatile addition to any jewellery collection.
